Here Are the FINAL Three Reasons Why You Might Be
Charging Too Little for Your Spiritual Life Coaching Services…
- You Don’t Think You Are Worth It. We hear this all too often. If you went to school to be a teacher… you would expect a salary. If you went to school for massage, you would expect a salary… why is Coaching any different?? A lot of new coaches know the credentials of their mentors and feel intimidated to charge what they charge because they don’t have the same hours of experience. What HLC has done to account for this is incorporate on-the-job training into the certification program. This automatically adds hours of experience, plus increases a Coach’s confidence to provide results to their clients and expect to get paid for doing so, like they would for any other modality. It’s okay to Coach a lot of people for free, or for a low fee, especially in the beginning, but only for a set period of time. Always be sure to balance the energy exchange. For example… let these clients know in exchange for Coaching at a lower rate, you would like them to provide a written or video testimonial you can use on your website.
- Your Clients Deserve the Best Spiritual Life Coaching Services that You Can Deliver. It is important for you to help your clients achieve their three most important self-help goals. But you can’t do that if you are stressing over trying to make a living facilitating too many low-paying clients. Be careful not to spread yourself too thin, it will mean less attention for each of your clients.
- You Want to Coach Low-Income People Who Could Benefit from receiving your Spiritual Life Coaching services. Nothing wrong with that, unless you put yourself out of business. Therefore, it makes sense to charge a high enough fee to your regular clients to allow you to offer scholarships for your low-income clients. You can also volunteer your coaching services to an organization that provides coaching to low-income people. Another example- provide Group Coaching which can be facilitated at a lower-rate than one-on-one Coaching.
