Welcome and Happy New Year, Soul Friend!
Tabula Rasa is the Latin term that translates as "clean slate" (fully detailed in HLC's Self Mastery Textbook page 33). With each new year we are gifted an opportunity to clean the slate and start a new – whether it is to lose weight, do the work we are meant to do, fall in love, make a million dollars and what ever our hearts can dream up. So why is it we start the year with such grandeur of hope and wind up with sour lemons when the year is over? Well, here is my story and how I chose to change it. |

In 2007, I spent the better part of the year chasing temporary highs. I chased money, a house I really didn’t want, a dead end job, mister wrong guy for me, "friends" that didn’t accept the real me, my parent’s approval, blah, blah, blah. If you are anything like me you know exactly what this is like and how it feels. I was a prisoner to "magical beliefs" (Self-Mastery Textbook page 98), the when I have this or that for the moment then I will be saved and happy.
But what I came to realize is that this is my life…yes…MY LIFE. MY LIFE is really all I have and my happiness is 100% mine alone to achieve so what was I waiting for? I was wasting time. I knew there was something more out there for me, something more to live for than those temporary highs. This was my chance to live the way I want to and be happy. That is when I decided to clean the slate of my life. I created a divorce, a layoff, moved to another state, and even stopped fantasizing about Mr. Wonderful. And do you know what I discovered? That no matter who I am with, what I do, and where I go… there I AM.
Tabula Rasa is about cleaning the slate of my mind, not just my closet. While cleaning the closet was important it wasn’t the only change I needed to make. It wasn’t until I was able to look in to my own heart to see all that I am and all that I desire are one. Love is what moves and keeps me. It is love that I was seeking all along. But how could I affirm loving thoughts and attract love into my life if the only things my ego mind kept telling me day in and day out were the lies negatively programmed into me when I was a child such as – I am fat, I am not pretty, I am not smart enough, I am not worthy of love, I am broken, etc. My ego mind can go on and on if I let it. I was "piling on positive affirmations over a dysfunctional past that was still creating my reality" (see Self-Mastery Textbook page 33).
Cleaning the slate of my mind required that I stop this endless loop tape of lies, realize my ego mind was playing the tape and unveil where these limiting beliefs originated. Once I completed this very worthy undertaking I ultimately needed to reprogram new loving thoughts such as I am beautiful, I am smart, I am love, I am all I need, I am talented, I am fabulous, I am worthy of an abundant lifestyle, etc. My spirit can go on forever as it should because I am a perfect child of God.
If it is love that I truly desired then I needed to go deep inside of my heart and see the truth of who I really was and am, and tell my ego mind to stop and see this truth. It was only then I could be whom I really was and have always been hidden behind that very full and dirty closet. It was only then that I could feel true joy, inner peace and unconditional love.
It is a new year and it is your life. Why would you waste another day, minute or even a second not being who you really are which is love? Love is the only thing that is real and in your heart you know this to be true. So start today -- Tabula Rasa, allow your spirit to be your master and your ego mind a servant, and make 2008 the best year of your life!!! You are so loved soul friend so love yourself just as much!

Are you ready to stop “Pretending” to “BE” An Honest & Deliberate Conscious Creator?
Deliberate Conscious Creation requires 100% HONESTY about “What is” because the 11th commandment is, “Thou Shall Not BS thy Self.”
Deliberate Conscious Creation requires the inner faith that you have Godlike powers. Meaning, that you have “emotionalized” you are a Deliberate Conscious Creator, as opposed to being in “intellectual agreement" that you are a child of God.

Your daily “Attention” on the consistent “actions” you “believe” will manifest your “intentions” (See Intention-Attention SMA) are what make you a… Deliberate Conscious Creator! This is what built HLC, not the incarnate called “little Joey.”
Pretending is imagination, without the inner faith that you can do whatever it takes, to have and experience what you want to manifest.
Pretending is your ego “resisting” what your soul decided to make into a 4th Level Belief (p. 43).
Compulsive unconscious pretending is motivated by F.E.A.R. and it is a unique type of Dis-honesty.
This unconscious, compulsive, fear-based dis-honesty, is a mental plague that has infected our meta-community. The symptoms manifest as a “Be-ing” pretending to be a deliberate conscious creator, but in actuality they are behaving as Pre-mature, Positive Thinkers (PPT- p. 34) and Magical Believers (p. 98).
To be a deliberate conscious creator, your Word must BE Law unto You. This is what creates the electromagnetic power that electrifies your Intentions, which allows you to tap into the Universal, God-Source Energy, so you can deliberately manifest your desires (See Word as Law SMA).
Honesty is the path that leads to happiness and Self-empowerment. Be-ing honest is an act of Self-renewal. Emotional honesty takes courage. Emotional intimacy is impossible without emotional Honesty (Lesson 4).
F.E.A.R. - is a false “belief” that you can not manifest what you desire to experience.
To act as a deliberate conscious creator, you must be the "puppeteer" of your life, instead of being used as the “puppet” by your E.G.O. mind.
It takes just as much WORK to deliberately create as it does to consciously dis-create.
You need to master both deliberate conscious creation, and dis-creation techniques to be a professional spiritual life coach.
Mastering the "subtle technique" of deliberate Self-programming is an "art" that all Self-mastered Be-ings possess (See Self-programming SMA).
If you ceaselessly follow the five Self-programming rules, than only two things can happen, with one being obvious and the other being extremely subtle. The obvious thing is you will manifest what it is you want to experience. The not so obvious thing is that you could surface what it is you need to heal and learn, so you can manifest what it is that you want to experience. Many holistic people go unconscious to the second outcome, and as such they miss God’s “diagnostic gift”. Their ego-mind resists owning the uncomfortable truth about what needs to be healed or learned, which is reason for celebration, not aggravation.
Lesson three, in your Self-mastery textbook (as well as your nine Secret SMAs) taught you how to Self-program (p.50) your sub-conscious mind with any 4th Level Belief you want to experience--- so what are you waiting for? Start now to co-create a life that the God’s themselves would envy!
Begin right now to co-create what you already know is your spiritual purpose for living. You already know you want to do work you love, as a full time dharmic career. You already know that “I teach what I most need to learn and heal.” You already know “I heal one soul at a time starting with mine.” So stop reading this, and start co-creating with God your 4th Level, unique and personal Self-programs.
After you have self-programmed your Intentions for at least 90-days, then surrender the “How” and “When” to God knowing what you desire will come to pass, when it has germinated.
When you E.G.O. tries to make you feel like you are still a small, weak, powerless WIC, who is incapable of achieving your Intentions (which it surely will) be sure to have a positive, short sub modifier (p51) handy to repeat 25X until you feel spiritually grounded again.
Don’t allow your ego produced F.alse E.vidence A.ppearing R.eal (F.E.A.R.) to stop you from Self-programming what you were born to do, which is to, in your own unique way--- SAVE…the Humans!

Creation and Dis-creation

At HLC it is well known that the missing piece in the conscious creation cycle is dis-creation; the uncovering and eliminating of that which we do not want in our lives. To many of us it can feel as if this alone may take years as the negative appears to be so predominant in our lives. But please remember this is called "the conscious CREATION cycle." Yes, it is a double process of conscious construction and destruction going on at the same time.
The important thing to remember, as in all things, is BALANCE. Do not put off the |

Conscious Creation aspect until all of the dis-creaton is accomplished because dis-creation is a work in progress. As soon as even the slightest of gaps opens due to your dis-creation work, immediately move to consciously fill it in, reinforce it and validate it with what you want on the positive side. If you do not consciously fill in the space opened when you experience yourself letting go of a negative, that space will be filled in without your being aware of it, with something that most assuredly you will not be happy with.
There is an all pervasive lie abounding in our world both within and in the outer world. The lie has to do with negativity and the difficulty or impossibility of actual change. This lie dogs us night and day. This is yet another reason why the Conscious Creation part of the cycle along with Gratitude, Validation of your Light as well as anything that you see, feel or experience in your self or in this world that is good is exceedingly important.
The Self Mastery textbook teaches us that we run the same negative thoughts over and over again day in and day out. This is done unconsciously; we simply take it as the way life is and the way we are. We know that our thoughts create our beliefs, actions and habits which all together form our character and determine our lives. Therefore it is of utmost importance while remaining vigilant, following the 11th commandment (thou shalt not BS thyself) and recognizing what we need to work on and change, we must at the same time put forth our focus and attention on noticing, cultivating and nurturing what is good in us and what we want for ourselves.
The Law of Attraction states that what we focus on expands, we become what we see. So let us be more aware of where our focus is throughout the entire day or notice if we are simply running on autopilot without giving a focus or direction to our mind and feelings. This is a 24 hour a day occupation that must become a passion. By all means be aware of the elements needing to be purged in you; see them, feel them, let us reject them from our consciousness entirely, refusing admittance to the lie of who we are not. This can be as simple as yielding to avoid the blow of an opponent, it only takes a moment, then we move right back into our focus, feeling and cultivation of our Light and deeper aspiration. Our focus must be on Creation, with the needed jaunts into the realm of dis-creation, as the attack arises, the habit is seen, the nastiness uncovered, only to then immediately go forward as soon as possible into the realm of positive conscious creation and growth. Positive, Passionate, Purposeful.

I will find my truth… my true desires… exactly what makes my heart soar…
